GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CIW-311XHS corrosion Inhibitor is a water soluble corrosion inhibitor designed for oil field applications. It is a complex amine type product formulated with cationic surfactants and synergists in a glycol/aqueous solvent system. This product is soluble in most brine systems and provides protection against corrosion in both CO2 and H2S environments through selective adsorption at the active corrosion sites. It is a film forming inhibitor which will inhibit corrosion in both brine and hydrocarbon phases.
CIW-311XHS is designed to synergize the passive film and adsorption film protection effects from different inhibition chemistries. It can form combined protective films on the metal surface and inhibit corrosion caused by various corrosive factors, e.g. CO2, H2S, high salinity, etc.
