GENERAL DESCRIPTION
EBM-112 series is a demulsifier intermediate / synergist designed for oilfield applications.
Such products can be used in oil soluble or water soluble demulsifier formulations to achieve synergistic effects on traditional demulsifier formulations, mainly in increasing the depth of dehydration. Hence, it is also called a polishing agent for dehydrated oils.
The production of crude oil is usually accompanied by a wish not to generate some emulsion, which is due to the presence of natural emulsion in produced fluid, and by the high shear rate and effect of turbulence in the oil channel. The oil-water separation process effectively is an essential step in oilfield operations, which is aimed at the most timely and under the premise of ensuring the quality of the economy away from crude oil and water production.
General crude oil dehydration process is in the internal separator by chemical demulsifier assisted, demulsifier can effectively destroy the oil-water interface in order to enhance and accelerate the demulsification.
