GENERAL DESCRIPTION
HIW-241series is a liquid organic chemical product designed to prevent natural gas hydrate generated in the oil and gas gathering and transportation system. It is a special low dosage surface active agent. This product is based on years of hydrate prevention and control research and development of the latest generation kinetic hydrate inhibitors.
The main effect of the hydrate inhibitor is to prevent and control hydrate rather than post-treatment. This product should be injected into the parts of the upstream which may produce hydrate. The dosage depends on the water content in the pipeline system.
The function of the kinetic hydrate inhibitor is delay of hydrate nucleation process and/or growth. This delay time is usually called induction time. The hydrate formation time and growth rate depend on the kinetic hydrate inhibitor effect, dosage, and the strength of the hydrate formation of the driving factors. The more the undercooling temperature difference is, the greater the dose of kinetic hydrate Inhibitor is used. The time of hydrate under control will also be restricted.
