GENERAL DESCRIPTION
HSW-331 series is a liquid organic chemical formulation for use to remove oilfield produced gas，mixture and H2S in aqueous phase. The excess H2S can severely interfere with the normal production and safety. This product can react with H2S to form a stable water-soluble reaction product, thus H2S can be removed from production system easily.
Hydrogen sulphide is one of the most serious dangers in current oil and gas production process. The generation and existence of H2S largely results from sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB). SRB can reduce natural sulface in oilfield water to generate H2S. H2S can further react with iron to form ferrous sulfide (FeS). This reaction determines the corrosive of H2S for oil pipeline, valve and processing equipment, and therefore can cause failure and leakage. In many oilfields, ferrous sulfide can result in a typical black water phenomenon, and can affect the normal work of oil-water separation system and blockage of water injection well.
In addition to strong corrosive, H2S is very poisonous, flammable. In low concentration, it gives rise to the odor of rotten eggs. At the concentration of more than 100ppm, H2S can make the human olfactory system paralysis and odorless. The concentration over 700ppm may immediately cause death. Because H2S is heavier than air, it can accumulate in low-lying and poorly ventilated places.
This H2S Scavenger product is applicable to oilfield production operation which includes natural gas production system, natural gas storage and extraction, gas processing with crude oil production，crude oil production system，treatment and reinjection system of produced water，treatment equipment of the desulfurizing unit exhaust，emission gas，fuel gas and torch effluent gas，as well as transportation of solution including H2S，etc.
