GENERAL DESCRIPTION
SIW-2216BN Scale Inhibitor is a concentrated aqueous based multi organophosphorus formulation that has proven to be very effective in controlling most common oilfield scales in producing wells, water disposal systems, and water injection systems. It is especially recommended for control of barium and strontium sulphate deposition. SIW-2216BN is also effective against calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, and calcium phosphate scales. SIW-2216BN prevents scale formation by functioning as a chelator to Ca2+、Mg2+ in water, and by acting as a crystal distorting agent.
SIW-2216BN scale inhibitor functions to prevent scale formation through crystal distortion and threshold inhibition mechanisms. This product was specifically designed to exhibit good tolerance to calcium hardness in brines and is completely soluble at both high and low concentrations in oil field brines.
