GENERAL DESCRIPTION
VRW-261series is a liquid organic chemical formulation for use to emulsify heavy oil with water in assisting the production and transportation of heavy crude oil and fuel oil. Heavy oils usually highly viscous black asphaltic crude oils with API gravity of less than 20°API.
The mechanism of this product is to emulsify heavy oil and work water or added water in order to generate an oil-in-water mixture. Therefore it can greatly reduce the viscosity and the resistance of the fluid in the production and gathering pipeline. And also it can improve the production of heavy oil and reduce the pressure of pump pressure of pipeline transportation. So, the product is suitable for produced liquid with more than 15% moisture at least (better to reach 30%). Additional water can be added if not enough is present in the produced oil. This product can reduce the amount and cost of diesel oil, kerosene, condensate of dilute oil used for dilution of heavy crude oils.
